Spectrum Plus was started in 1985 by Jeff Rayborn. Jeff graduated with honors from the Phoenix Institute of Technology. He worked for over five years for Bausch and Lomb/Applied Research Labs (ARL) servicing their complete line of Optical Emission Spark (OE), Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), and diffraction instruments. Since its inception, Spectrum Plus has been servicing and maintaining instruments for many well-known companies across the US and Canada, including installing the first Spectrolaser LIBS System in the United States at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
